SEPT 2-5 - LONDON DRUM SHOW

Official Press release from “Drummer Magazine”

All passionate drummers or percussionists had better place the 4th and 5th September in their diaries. The London Drum Show premiers at the Olympia Conference Centre, with many of the world’s finest players performing in the Live Stage auditorium, plus great drummers providing masterclasses in the mikedolbear.com masterclasses suite.

Artists confirmed to perform over the two days include Dave Weckl, Ndugu Chancler, Benny Greb, Pete Lockett, Mike Mangini, Andy Fisenden, Nisan Stewart, Ian Matthews, with masterclasses from Ralph Salmins and Paul Clarvis, Percussity’s Albert Vila and Craig Blundell.

International Supremo, Steve Gadd, will formally open the show at 12 noon on Saturday 4th September and be on hand to meet and greet.

The London Drum Show will also include a fully dedicated exhibition area featuring exhibits from many of the leading drum, cymbal, stick, head and percussion companies, as well as custom builders, allowing the UK drumming public the opportunity to assess close up a vast range of products and the chance to meet product specialists that can inform and advise. With many leading manufacturers launching new products at the show, this will be the first chance to see, hear and feel these great products. Drummers and percussionists will also get the chance to purchase many ‘show specials’ as some of the UK’s leading retailers display products that will encourage smarter and better playing!

The Live Stage auditorium offers plush, tiered seating for 450 and boasts excellent acoustics, ensuring both artists and audience alike experience a truly exciting and unforgettable experience. The masterclass suite allows for a 300-seated audience to enjoy a rich variety of ‘A’ list players performing masterclasses organised by mikedolbear.com.

For the biggest and brightest beats, the London Drum Show will be the standout show of the year that no drummer or percussionist can afford to miss. The London Drum Show is brought to you by Drummer magazine.
