MIKE MANGINI'S COMPLETE PLAYBOOK
WORLD-RECORD SYSTEMS | NEUROSCIENCE-BACKED | PROVEN PROTOCOLS
Mike Mangini has transformed the world's top drummers (and other instrumentalists) through revolutionary systems that shatter technical barriers and unlock true musical freedom.
Now, for the first time ever, his complete protocols — proven through multiple World Records, battle-tested on world tours, and proven by thousands of student transformations — are available in a comprehensive digital system that includes direct interaction, evaluation and guidance from Mike.
What’s inside?
Everything you need to Play Anything.
No Holds Barred Access to All of my Musical systems. See some of them below:
Body, Hands & Feet Module
This is your foundation — showing you exactly how to position yourself for maximum control and effortless power. No more fighting against your own setup. No more reaching or straining. Just pure, natural movement that makes everything easier.
The Feet Module
Here, you'll discover how to develop explosive power and lightning speed without relying on momentum. This isn't about bigger motions - it's about training your feet like an elite athlete, building precise control that works at any tempo.
The Hands Module
Inside, I reveal the exact protocols I used to break World's Fastest Drummer records.
You'll learn to develop speed from the smallest motions up, building effortless power without tension. Every movement, every technique, explained with scientific precision.
The Coordination Module
Instead of trying to "hear" coordination, you'll learn to see and feel it - rapidly gaining total control over every limb combination.
If you want to learn polyrhythms outside of “just feeling it” or “trying to automate limbs”, this is your ticket to freedom.
Clockwise Counter-Clockwise System
The CnC System gives you total limb interdependence by treating all limbs equally. Your timing becomes Swiss-watch precise because you're finally moving in harmony with your body's natural balance.
The Not-Quite-Doubled System
NQD makes odd time feel as natural as tapping your foot. You'll never be thrown off by complex rhythms again, because you'll see the simple patterns hidden inside them.
(Even numbered rhythms will be a breeze.)
the Two-Numbers-Twice System
Will quickly teach you how to shift between any rhythmic feel on command, giving you complete control over the energy and groove of everything you play.
(I’m even talking triplets into 19-tuplets if your heart so desires!)
tIMING mODULE
The Timing Module gets right to the point of how musicians make time internally and how connect to it externally.
This fixes issues with playing along to a click, issues with rushing fills, recording in right in time.
POLYRHYTHMS ONE MODULE
Polyrhythms One is most comprehensive, deep and guaranteed way to learn and ultimately OWN polyrhythms. I'm talking 9 against 11. 2 against 17.
As opposed to learning them by first learning by stickings, this module wires the senses for three layers.
Typical approaches to teaching polyrhythm risks resulting in a person having little clue how to be able to play two at once unless you learn the inner mind game first.
Additional courses included: Cool Fills, Timing, Egg Zooming, Miscellaneous Lessons¹, Digital Concert Pass¹

-
Absolutely not! These systems are specifically designed to reduce the amount of practice time needed while increasing effectiveness. In fact, many of the exercises can be done in as little as 10–15 minutes a day for maintenance, or 25–45 minutes for deeper progress. It’s all about quality over quantity!
-
The minimum time needed to see results is just 25–45 minutes of focused practice per day. However, if you're short on time, even 10 minutes a day can make a difference for technique maintenance. The systems are designed to maximize progress with the time you have, so every minute counts!
-
The course is designed to give you results right away, while also providing a complete system for long-term mastery. Most students experience a few instant breakthroughs within the first few days—whether it’s a sudden boost in coordination, clarity about rhythm, or a faster, smoother approach to technique.
Here’s how the journey typically unfolds...
First Few Days:
Right from the start, you’ll notice immediate progress as you apply the foundational concepts. Many students report breakthroughs in coordination or timing after just a single session. You’ll feel more connected to your playing and gain confidence quickly.
Week 1–4:
Over the first month, you’ll see measurable improvements in control, speed, and efficiency. Your practice will feel more purposeful, and you’ll start to unlock potential you didn’t know you had. By the end of this stage, you’ll already be playing at a higher level.
Months 2–6:
This is where the deeper transformation takes place. As you work consistently, you’ll gain mastery over the techniques and concepts. Each step builds on the last, and your progress will compound. You’ll be able to tackle challenges you once thought impossible, and your playing will feel effortless and natural.
6 Months–1 Year:
At this point, you’ll be performing at a completely different level. Whether your goal is speed, coordination, or mastering specific techniques, you’ll feel like an entirely new musician. This is when the system becomes second nature, and your confidence soars.
1–2 Years:
While you’ll see progress early on, the course is designed as a total transformational system. To fully explore and integrate all the material, it may take 1–2 years. This is a long-term investment in your craft, and the journey will continue to deliver new breakthroughs as you combine concepts and push your abilities even further. The best part? The course is flexible, with most exercises requiring just 25–45 minutes of focused practice per day.
This system meets you where you are, whether you’re a beginner or an advanced player. You’ll experience results fast, but the real magic happens over time. Stick with it, and you’ll unlock a lifetime of growth and joy in your playing just like Mike has!
-
This system goes far beyond the basics by breaking everything down into muscle groups and fundamental motions. Traditional methods, like learning rudiments or techniques, don’t focus on how the brain and body naturally work together.
This course teaches you to optimize your movements and coordination from the ground up, making even advanced techniques feel natural and accessible.
For example, rudiments are often taught in a way that skips over the underlying mechanics, but this system focuses on building your skills step-by-step, ensuring that every muscle and motion is working efficiently. It’s not just a method—it’s a complete blueprint for unlocking your full potential.
-
Yes, the community is an integral part of this course! Mike interacts directly with the community at least weekly (pending his schedule), answering questions and pointing students to specific areas in the courses or books to help them overcome challenges.
To ensure fairness and accessibility, students can ask one question at a time, which allows Mike to help as many people as possible.
Additionally, the community is a fantastic resource for support—you’ll be surrounded by like-minded musicians who are eager to help and share their experiences.
This course is not just about the material—it’s about creating a supportive environment where you can grow, learn, and feel connected.
-
We know the course will work because it’s designed from the ground up to make it impossible not to!
Here’s the thing—most people quit because they don’t see results fast enough, they get overwhelmed, or they don’t have a clear path. This system eliminates all of that.
First, the course is structured step-by-step, so you always know exactly what to do next. As soon as you sign up, you’ll receive a welcome email with a complete outline of the course curriculum. That way, there’s no guesswork, no confusion—just a proven process that works.
Second, you’ll start seeing results immediately. Even after your first session, you’ll feel a difference in your coordination, timing, or control. Those small, early wins will keep you motivated.
And finally, you’re not doing this alone. You’ll have access to a supportive community of musicians who are on the same journey, plus I’ll be there answering questions and helping you stay on track. If you show up and put in the work, I know you’ll follow through—because the system is built to set you up for success.
This isn’t just another course—it’s a transformation. If you’re ready to commit, I’m ready to guide you every step of the way.
-
Absolutely. In fact, if you already know your rudiments, this system will help you get more out of them than ever before. Here’s the deal: most rudiment training teaches you what to play, but it doesn’t teach you how to make your body and brain work together to play them efficiently. That’s where this course comes in.
This system breaks everything down into the fundamental motions and muscle groups behind your playing. It’s all about making your movements smoother, faster, and more controlled. You’ll learn how to unlock speed and power that you didn’t even know you had, while putting less strain on your body.
So, no—you’re not starting over. You’re taking what you already know and optimizing it to a whole new level. If you’ve been practicing rudiments for years, get ready to feel like you’ve just unlocked a secret cheat code that makes everything easier and more natural.
-
Yes, 100%. If you’ve taken the masterclass, this course is the perfect next step. While the masterclass was designed to give you a broad overview of the concepts, this course dives much deeper. It’s a hands-on, step-by-step system that breaks everything down into actionable exercises, so you can internalize the material and see results faster.
You’ll also gain access to new ideas, advanced techniques, and detailed demonstrations that weren’t covered in the masterclass. Think of this course as the deep dive that turns what you learned in the masterclass into real, lasting mastery.
If you loved the masterclass, this is where you take all of that knowledge and truly own it.
-
Absolutely—this system works perfectly with the Rhythm Knowledge books. The books give you the concepts, the framework, and the philosophy behind the system. However, there’s no substitute for actually seeing someone do it. Watching the techniques in action, hearing how they sound, and then getting to play along with them—it’s a completely different experience
This course takes everything you’ve read and brings it to life. I walk you through each step, show you exactly how to break things down, and give you exercises to practice in real time. With over 10 hours of video play-alongs with Mike, it’s like having a personal guide to make sure you’re applying the material the right way and getting the results you’re looking for.
So, if you’ve read the books, you’re already ahead of the game—but this course is where it all comes together. You’ll take the ideas from the page and turn them into real, tangible progress.
This is the missing piece that ties it all together.
-
The courses are designed to work for anyone, no matter your setup, so you can start making progress immediately.
If you’re a drummer, you’ll need a pair of sticks, a practice pad, and a metronome—that’s it. For foot technique, I’d recommend a set of double pedals, a foot practice pad, and a solid drum throne, but even that’s optional. You can make huge progress with just the basics.
For all other instrumentalists — All you need is your instrument, a metronome, and a willingness to jump into the process.
-
Yes! But here’s the thing: this course is the unchanging foundation. This is the core system that everything else builds on. No matter what new material I release in the future, this is where it all starts, and this is what everything connects back to.
That said, I absolutely plan to release more courses in the future—advanced techniques, deeper dives into specific topics, and new ways to keep you growing and evolving. But if you’ve gone through this course, you’ll already have the tools you need to handle anything new I put out.
And here’s the cool part: when you sign up for this course, you’re not just getting access to the system—you’re also locking in access to future releases. Whether it’s bonus material, add-on lessons, or full new courses, you’ll be part of the system going forward.

Absolutely—and honestly, if you’re just starting out, this is exactly what you need. The younger you start with this system—or the earlier you get into it—the better. Here’s why: it’s way easier to build good habits from the beginning than to spend years undoing bad ones.
This course is designed to break everything down step by step, so even if you’ve never picked up a pair of sticks before, you’ll be able to follow along and start building a solid foundation. You’ll learn the right mechanics, the right motions, and the right mindset to set yourself up for success—not just now, but for the rest of your drumming journey.
And if you’re already an advanced player, this system will still work wonders for you. It’s not about starting over—it’s about refining and optimizing everything you’ve already built. It’ll help you identify inefficiencies, undo any lingering bad habits, and push through plateaus that may have been holding you back for years.
No matter where you are in your drumming journey—beginner or advanced—this system adapts to you. It’s designed to meet you where you are and take you as far as you want to go.
-
Moeller technique and Push-Pull technique are derivatives of the more fundamental motions. In this system, we start with those fundamental motions first—the basic building blocks that all techniques are built on. Once you understand these motions and how to apply them, techniques like Moeller and Push-Pull start to make a lot more sense because you’ll see how they’re just extensions or applications of the core principles.
This isn’t about learning just one technique or another. It’s about understanding how your body naturally moves and how to use those foundational motions to support any technique. That way, you’re not locked into a single approach—you’re free to use Moeller, Push-Pull, or any other method when it makes sense for what you’re playing.
So, if you’ve already studied Moeller or Push-Pull, great! You’ve already seen part of the picture. This system will take you deeper by focusing on the mechanics behind all techniques, giving you a foundation that you can apply to anything you play.
-
Absolutely—and if you haven’t studied double pedal yet, this is the perfect way to start.
I’d recommend getting a double pedal because everybody has two feet, and you need to train both of them. Even if you’re not planning to play blazing double bass runs, learning to use both feet effectively will open up so many possibilities in your playing.
This system breaks everything down step by step, so you’ll develop the coordination and control you need for double pedal work—whether it’s simple patterns or more advanced techniques. And the best part? It all ties back to the same fundamental motions that apply to your hands, so the process of learning feels natural and connected.
So, whether you’re just starting to explore double pedal or you’ve only worked on single pedal so far, this system will give you the tools to unlock your full potential with both feet. It's all about balance and control, and this course will help you develop both.
-
No, you don’t need to know music notation to get started.
The system is designed so that you can follow along and understand the concepts without having any prior knowledge of reading music.
That said, learning some basic notation can be helpful as you progress, and this course will introduce it in a way that’s simple and easy to understand. But rest assured, not knowing music notation won’t hold you back—you’ll be able to dive right in and start building your skills right away.
-
No. Swivel technique and heel-toe are derivatives of more fundamental motions, just like Moeller or Push-Pull are for the hands.
In this system, we focus on those core, fundamental motions first—the ones that form the foundation for all techniques, including swivel.
By starting with these basic principles, you’ll not only understand how swivel technique works but also when and why to use it. This isn’t about memorizing or copying one specific technique—it’s about mastering the underlying mechanics so you can adapt and use them in any situation.
If you’ve already studied swivel technique, that’s great. This system will help you refine it, make it more efficient, and integrate it seamlessly into your overall playing. It’s all about building a strong foundation that supports every technique, so you have the freedom to use what works best for you.
-
Absolutely—this system reveals the exact protocol that I used to set my speed drumming records.
f you’ve ever dreamed of competing in events like World’s Fastest Drummer or just pushing your speed to its absolute peak, this is the roadmap to get you there… While not injuring yourself!!!
